Hold on Tight, We’re Living Life on the Edge!
This week we had a job for both interior and exterior painting. The interior painting we completed was a piece of cake, one ceiling and four walls in eggshell to protect against bathroom moisture. Very straightforward.
On the other hand, the exterior dormer we stained was a bit more precarious! After years of direct sunlight baking the stained siding, the wood was not in the best shape. We tediously assembled our scaffolding on the exterior deck up to the second story dormer and placed an adjoining walk board from the scaffold to the shingles. The pitch of the roof was much too steep to walk on. From here we thoroughly scraped and re-stained the wood with a semi-transparent stain to protect and rejuvenate the wood to a like-new appearance!
As you can see, we aren’t scared of a little hard work, or heights! The homeowner was extremely pleased with the end result, and we are looking forward to coming back and working for them on future projects. Unlike many painters out there, we love doing whatever it takes to make our clients happy and we aren’t afraid to go the extra mile to do the job right!
